“We declare that human rights are for all of us, all the time: whoever we are and wherever we are from; no matter our class, our opinions, our sexual orientation.” – Ban Ki-moon
December 10 is Human Rights Day, a day to commemorate the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the importance of securing human rights for all people.
This year will be the 72nd anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the day will be celebrated with the theme “Stand Up For Human Rights”.
Just by being human, there are things we are allowed to be, to do or to have. We should respect each others rights regardless of who are, and uphold them even when we disagree.
